Terms of service

AKO by Jess – Terms of Service / Purchase

1. General Use

This website and its content (images, designs, logos, artworks) belong to AKO by Jess. Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated version.

2. Ordering & Processing

Once you place an order, your product will be prepared and shipped within 3–10 business days. All items are created and packaged by hand in my Mount Maunganui studio. This is a manual process, so please allow for this timeframe.

3. Handmade Nature of Products

All prints are hand printed, which means each one is unique. Minor variations in placement, texture, ink coverage, or colour are part of the handmade process and are not considered faults.

Each Paper Art Print is titled, signed in pencil for authenticity.

4. Packaging & Shipping

Small and medium prints: packaged in a protective sleeve with a backing board and shipped flat in a rigid envelope.

Large prints: shipped rolled in a postal tube to ensure safe delivery. Gently uncurl by placing under heavy books for a few days before framing.

Note: Frames are not included with any prints.

5. Care Instructions

Clothing: W
ash inside out in cold water with similar colours on gentle cycle. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals. Line dry in the shade and do not tumble dry. If ironing is needed, turn the T-shirt inside out and use a low heat setting, keeping the iron away from the printed area. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Each AKO piece is hand printed, and with the right care it will last beautifully, carrying its story for years to come.

Prints: Avoid displaying prints in direct sunlight, as this can cause fading. If displaying in a damp or moist environment, ensure prints are framed behind sealed glass to prevent moisture damage.

Allow large prints to uncurl naturally before framing.

6. Original Work

My art work is handmade and original, including a mix of limited edition linocut prints and digitally printed greeting cards.

Every piece is designed, carved, pressed, and pulled by my hands in my studio in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand.
